"Give it up for Lent"

I find it pretty funny that about 80% of the population are giving up something for Lent while a majority of them don't even go to church. Every year, I hear somebody new around the office that is giving up "candy...chocolate...weed" yet they fail to understand the meaning of giving up something as a sacrifice. They also forget to use the time of lent for prayer and fasting.

And yes, I really know somebody who gave up weed for lent (how many times a month do you think he goes to church?) Anyway, this year, instead of giving up something for lent, I'm going to "Give it up for Lent!!!!" (applause!!!) Thank you, it's here all month. Try the veal.
